“Verse of the Year” Song Recordings
Since 2003, Belhaven University’s “Verse of the Year” has shaped campus life, and for more than two decades Doug has written an original song each year rooted in that Scripture. This project brings a selection of those songs—long sung in chapel and remembered by alumni—into their first professional recordings. Released during the Twelve Days of Christmas, these songs are intended not for profit, but for worship: helping Scripture take root, serving the church, and telling a uniquely Belhaven story.
